Search for family jewellery after Wheelers Hill burglary

Detectives from Monash Crime Investigation Unit are appealing for information following a burglary in Wheelers Hill last week (14 May).

Investigators have been told three men entered the Summerhill Drive property by forcing their way through the front door about 1.30pm.

Once inside the home it is believed the trio stole a number of valuable jewellery items, including the victim’s late mother’s rings and a safe.

It is believed the men fled in a four door utility which was parked nearby.

Investigators have released CCTV and images of three men, along with pictures of a jade bracelet and a safe that was stolen during the burglary, in the hope someone can provide assistance in relation to the investigation.
