Police divers have been called to assist in the search for a teenaged boy who failed to surface after falling into a waterhole near Taree earlier today.
Emergency services were called to Potoroo Falls in Dingo Forest, 50km north-east from Taree, shortly before 3pm (Sunday 15 November 2020), responding to reports a 14-year-old boy fell off the falls into the waterhole below. He did not surface.
Officers from Manning-Great Lakes Police District are coordinating the search for the teen, with police divers due on site by 7pm.
