A second man has been charged with sexual offences following an investigation into alleged sexual abuse on the Central Coast.
In December 2025, police seized 120 electronic storage devices from a home in Tumbi Umbi, as part of an ongoing investigation into an alleged domestic violence incident.
Following an initial review of the devices, police uncovered a large amount of covertly filmed sexual content and detectives attached to Tuggerah Lakes Police District established Strike Force Zetter to investigate further.
As part of the investigation, strike force detectives located 2.5 million files containing the sexual and physical abuse of three different women – aged between 29 and 31 – over a seven-year period.
Following extensive inquiries, strike force detectives attended a facility in Wellington on Monday 12 October 2026, where they arrested and charged a 39-year-old man with 210 offences. He was refused bail to appear before Bail Division Local Court 4 yesterday (Tuesday 13 October 2026), where he was formally refused bail to appear before Wyong Local Court on Tuesday 8 December 2026.
Following further inquiries, investigators attended a home in Kanwal about 4.45pm on Monday 12 October 2026 where a 41-year-old man was arrested.
He was taken to Wyong Police Station where he was charged with three counts of sexual intercourse without consent.
He was refused bail to appear before Bail Division Local Court 6 yesterday (Tuesday 13 October 2026), where he was formally refused bail to appear before Wyong Local Court on Wednesday 9 December 2026.
Inquiries are continuing under Strike Force Zetter.
