The men attempted to gain entry through a second door, however, they were unsuccessful and left the premises. They were last seen running southbound along George Street.

A short time later (about 8.30pm on Wednesday 21 August 2019), two men – armed with a knife and a firearm – entered a mixed business at the intersection of Cumberland and Albert roads, Auburn.

The men threatened two employees and demanded cash, before fleeing the premises empty handed.
