Second toy store break-in where Lego was stolen, South Australia

Southern District Police are investigating a break-in overnight at a toy store in St Marys.

Between 3.30am and 6am on Thursday 29 November, two male suspects entered the shop on South Road and stole thousands of dollars of Lego and a small amount of cash.

Police will allege the suspects loaded the goods into a yellow van before leaving the scene.

Just before 11am this morning police received a report of a dumped van in Geddes Street at St Agnes. The witnesses added they sighting two people skulking away from the scene.

Police enquiries revealed the yellow Mazda van was stolen overnight from Barnetts Road at St Marys.

Police investigations are continuing into the incident. Police are also investigating whether the incident is linked to a break-in at a Daw Park toy store where a large quantity of Lego was stolen earlier in the week.
