A post work inspection of Pye Hill Reserve by Liverpool Council has discovered two more areas with contaminated material.
They have been fenced off and warning signs are in place and arrangements have been made for its speedy removal.
Council acted proactively to ensure the Reserve could be declared clean and safe and now advises residents to avoid the fenced off areas.
