The Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety’s Resources Sector Awards for Excellence are now open for nominations.
Focusing on environmental and sustainable benefits to communities, the awards acknowledge and celebrate innovation, outstanding performance and leadership in Western Australia’s resources sector.
The Community Partnership Resources Sector Award recognises companies that are building sustainable partnerships with communities that extend beyond the life of a project.
The Golden Gecko Award for Environmental Excellence, now in its 27th year, recognises innovations and outstanding performance, which improve the environmental outcomes for Western Australia.
Nominations for this year’s awards close on April 29, 2019. The winners will be announced on August 22, 2019.
