A senior constable from Western Region has been charged following an internal investigation.
The male officer has been charged with one count each of unlawful assault and assault by kicking.
The charges follow an alleged incident in Delacombe on 3 April 2022 while the officer was on duty.
The 35-year-old has been summonsed to appear before a magistrates’ court at a later date.
