Campaspe Shire Council is inviting seniors from across the region to enjoy an afternoon of live music, friendship and fun at the 2026 Campaspe Shire Seniors Concert as part of the Victorian Seniors Festival.
The free event will be held on Thursday 15 October 2026 at the Lockington Community Centre and will feature popular four-piece band The Stiletto Groove, known for their energetic performances and timeless hits from the 1960s and 1970s. Doors open at 12.30pm, with the concert commencing at 1.30pm, followed by afternoon tea.
Campaspe Shire Council Mayor Cr Daniel Mackrell said the annual concert is a wonderful opportunity to recognise and celebrate the contribution seniors make to the community.
“Our seniors play an important role in shaping the vibrant and connected communities we enjoy today.
“The Victorian Seniors Festival provides an opportunity to celebrate older Victorians and encourage people to stay active, connected and engaged. This concert brings people together for an afternoon of entertainment, conversation and community spirit.
“We’re excited to welcome The Stiletto Groove to Lockington this year as part of the 2026 Seniors Festival Country Concerts. Their lively mix of classic tunes and crowd favourites is sure to have people singing along, tapping their feet and perhaps even dancing in the aisle,” Cr Mackell said.
Headlining this year’s concert, The Stiletto Groove delivers the energy and nostalgia of an era that defined a generation. Whether attendees are still rocking their stilettos or retired them long ago, the band’s dynamic performance promises a celebration of music that never gets old. Expect familiar songs, great vibes and plenty of memorable moments.
The event is free to attend and includes afternoon tea, however bookings are essential.
