Series of fires in Morley area

Arson Squad detectives are seeking information in relation to several fires that occurred in the early hours of this morning (Friday 22/10) in Morley and Bayswater.

Arson Squad detectives believe the fires were deliberately lit, possibly by a person riding a bicycle who was seen in the area of several of the fires. The fires caused an estimated $200,000 damage.

• 2.40am Redgum Way Morley Vehicle fire

• 2.50am Devonshire Street Morley Boat fire

• 3.00am Devonshire Street Morley Vehicle fire

• 3.05am Irvine Street Bayswater Wooden pallets

• 3.15am Irvine Street Bayswater Vehicle fire

• 4.00am Chaffers Street Morley Vehicle fire

• 4.15am Rokebury Way Morley Bin fire

• 4.15am Ivanhoe Street Morley Vehicle fire

Anyone with information relating to these fires is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report the information online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au. Rewards of up to $25,000 are available for information that leads to the identification and conviction of an arsonist.
