Serious crash at Nelshaby, South Australia

Police are currently at the scene of a serious crash at Nelsahby.

Just after 10am on Monday 4 February, patrols and emergency services were called to the Augusta Highway near Flinders View Drive after a Mitsubishi sedan and a light truck collided.

The driver of the Mitsubishi will be airlifted to the Royal Adelaide Hospital with life threatening injuries while the driver and passenger in the truck were not injured.

Motorists are advised that diversions are in place around the crash scene.

Southbound B-doubles will be diverted at Horrocks Pass Road while northbounbd B-doubles and single semi-trailers will be diverted at Wilkins Highway and Augusta Highway.

Road Trains will not be able to get through at any diversions and delays can be expected.
