Serious E-bike Crash at Wynnum, QLD

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a serious crash involving an e-bike at Wynnum last night, 9 July.

Shortly after 6pm, a man riding an e-bike collided with a BYD Shark utility near the intersection of Claymeade Street and Sandy Camp Road.

The 19-year-old rider sustained critical injuries and was transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital.

The 43-year-old man driving the Shark and his two teenage passengers were not physically injured.

Police are urging anyone who witnessed the crash or with dashcam footage of the incident to come forward.
