Police are appealing for dashcam vision as investigations continue into a traffic crash in Birtinya last night, 25 August.
Initial enquiries indicate at approximately 7.40pm, a red Holden Commodore was spotted driving dangerously along Kawana Way before colliding with a grey Toyota Corolla that had entered the road from Capital Place.
The Holden continued on and crashed into multiple trees before coming to a stop at a media strip a short distance away.
The female driver of the Toyota, a 16-year-old Peachester learner driver, suffered unknown injuries and was taken to hospital in a stable condition.
The two passengers, a 45-year-old Peachester woman and a 14-year-old girl, were uninjured.
The driver of the Holden, a 25-year-old Palmview woman, suffered a broken wrist and was taken to hospital for treatment .
The passenger, a 22-year-old Sippy Downs woman, was uninjured.
Investigations are continuing, anyone who was in the area at the time and may have relevant dashcam vision is being urged to contact police.
