Serious traffic crash in Agnes Water, QLD

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a single vehicle roll over in Agnes Water overnight.

A 19-year-old man was airlifted to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital with life threatening injuries following the serious traffic crash.

Shortly before 11pm the Audi sedan was travelling south on Captain Cook Drive when it left the road near Thomson Street before rolling a number of times.

Initial investigations indicate the driver and sole occupant, a 19-year-old man, was thrown from the vehicle.

Police and emergency services attended the scene and he was taken to Agnes Water Airport before being airlifted to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.

He remains in a critical condition.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the incident.
