Forensic Crash Unit are investigating following a serious traffic crash in Eagle Farm this morning, 23 August.
Just after 8am Police and emergency services were called to Kingsford Smith Drive following reports of a single vehicle traffic crash.
Initial investigations indicate the gold Holden Monaro left the roadway and collided with a tree.
The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, a 52-year-old Jindalee man, was transported to the Royal Brisbane Hospital in a stable condition.
Police are urging anyone who witnessed the crash or has dashcam footage to contact police.
Investigations into the crash are ongoing.
