The Bureau of Meteorology has reported significant rainfall in parts of the Gold Coast Hinterland overnight.
The Severe Weather Warning for heavy rainfall, damaging winds, abnormally high tides and dangerous surf conditions remains in place.
Some road, including Hardys Road in Bonogin are closed due to flooding, so remember, if it’s flooded forget it.
All Gold Coast beaches are closed to swimming and maintenance crews are inspecting any damage and will undertake any works when conditions allow.
