Council wishes to advise that, weather permitting, sewer infrastructure work has been programmed to commence across the Forbes Street Bridge, Bombala.
This essential work is planned to commence from the evening of 15 December 2020 and is expected to be completed on 18 December 2020.
The work will be carried out by contractors Fewster Brothers Pty Ltd.
Partial road closures on the bridge will be required to ensure the safety of staff and the general public whilst this work is undertaken and traffic control measures will be put in place. One lane of traffic will be closed resulting in short delays, as works are carried out between 7pm – 3am on the evenings of Tuesday 15th, Wednesday 16th and Thursday 17th of December.
Any road pavement and paths affected by the work will be repaired/replaced as part of the project works.
Council apologises for any inconvenience this work may cause. Residents and motorists are asked to be mindful of construction crews and machinery that will be working on and around this project.
