NT Police are investigating the alleged sexual assault of a seven-year-old girl in Tennant Creek on Wednesday.
Police received a report of the incident on Thursday night.
The girl received treatment in Tennant Creek before being flown to Alice Springs.
Police conducted an interview with the girl this morning in which she said she had been sexually assaulted.
Police are seeking a youth known to the girl and believe he is actively trying to avoid arrest.
