Sexual Offences Charges At Logan

Police have charged a 34-year-old Logan man following investigations into several alleged sexual assaults, including rape.

Victims had reported the incidents to police via the online Alternative Reporting Options (ARO).

The offences are alleged to have occurred in Brisbane in 2023 and on the Gold Coast in 2019.

Today, detectives from the Sexual Crimes Unit executed a search warrant at a Logan address where a number of devices were seized for analysis.

The man has since been charged with four counts of rape, and one count of sexual assault.

He is due to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court tomorrow, March 2.

As part of Operation Victor Midfields, detectives are continuing investigations and urge anyone with information to call Police Link on 131 444 or Crimestoppers.

Alternative Reporting Options provide victims with an online alternative for reporting sexual assault. ARO gives the victim the opportunity to provide police with the circumstances of their assault, with the option of remaining anonymous.
