Kiama Council
Shellharbour’s lifeguards secured a one-two win at last night’s Illawarra and Shoalhaven Lifeguard Challenge, with Kiama claiming third spot.
Ten teams (each with six members) from Wollongong, Shellharbour, Kiama and Shoalhaven lifeguard services took part in the challenge including run, swim tag, water paddle and rescue.
The final results were:
- Shellharbour B
- Shellharbour A
- Kiama A
The Lifeguard Challenge, last held in 2014, is an opportunity for our local professional lifeguards to celebrate the end of another busy summer holidays.
