Shots fired at Ascot

Detectives from the Gang Crime Squad are currently investigating an incident in Ascot last night, Tuesday, 2 March 2021.

Around 7.15pm, police were advised that gunshots were heard in the area. Police located empty shell casings in Artesian Lane which at the rear of homes on Sedgeland Way, Ascot.

Detectives believe that a stolen black 2017 model Porsche SUV, with WA Registration WMP888 was involved in the incident.

The Porsche was stolen from a home in Applecross on 21 February 2021. Police located the Porsche burnt out around 9pm last night near the intersection of Abernethy and Dundas Roads in High Wycombe.

Anyone who saw the Porsche between Sunday 21 February and last night, 2 March 2021, particularly in the Ascot area last night, is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au.

Investigators urge anyone who was in the Sedgeland Way area of Ascot last night between 5.30pm and 8pm who has any CCTV or dash-cam vision can upload the vision via the below link.
