Shots fired at Redbank

Detectives are investigating after reports of shots being fired on Kirton Street, Redbank overnight.

Around 11.45pm on Sunday May 15, police were called following multiple reports of gunshots in the street, near a residence.

Nobody was physically injured.

A dirt bike and dark coloured vehicle were seen leaving the area shortly after.

Police believe the parties involved are known to each other and there is no ongoing risk to the community.

Detectives are urging any witnesses, especially those with dashcam or CCTV to come forward, anonymous reports can be made.

Preliminary information indicates this incident is unrelated to the fatal police shooting at One Mile yesterday.
