Shots fired into Wentworthville home, NSW

Police are appealing for information after a public place shooting in Sydney’s west overnight.

Police were called to a home on Dunmore Street, Wentworthville, about 8.35pm (Wednesday 15 May 2019), after reports shots were fired into the front window, loungeroom and bedroom of the home.

Officers from Cumberland Police Area Command established a crime scene after a number of projectiles were found outside the home, which will be forensically examined.

The occupants of the home, two women, aged 23 and 39, and a 10-month-old baby boy were uninjured.

No arrests have yet been made, however inquiries into the incident continue.
