Sixth arrest over September Parafield Gardens robbery, South Australia

A sixth person involved in a robbery at the Parafield Gardens Community Club in September has been charged.

About 3.20pm on Friday 6 September, two men armed with a firearm and a machete entered a community club on Shepherdson Road and threatened staff.

The two men stole cash before leaving the club. Thankfully, no one was injured during the incident.

The investigation by Detectives from the Serious Crime Task Force, part of the Serious and Organised Crime Branch has been on going. And about 5pm today, Friday 27 December attended a northern suburbs home where they and arrested a sixth man in connection with the incident.

The 31-year-old Parafield Gardens man has been charged with assisting offenders. It will be alleged that he disposed of evidence linking the offenders to the robbery.

The man has been bailed to appear at the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on Friday 31 January 2020.
