Skilled Migration information sessions for employers – set for Swan Hill and Robinvale

Do you need to know more about Employer Sponsored Skilled Regional Visas?

Swan Hill Rural City Council and Australian Relocation Migration Services are hosting free workshops for employers in Swan Hill and Robinvale.

Director of Development and Planning, Heather Green said that the information sessions were being run to assist locals requiring more information in relation to sponsored migration.

“We have a skill shortage in our region and Council has engaged a migration agent to conduct these workshops for employers wishing to sponsor individuals through the 494 visa process.

“Employer Sponsored Skilled Regional Visas provide an avenue for businesses to recruit skilled people wishing to live and work in a regional or low population growth area in Australia.

“This program assists local employers to fill gaps in skilled positions, that otherwise could not be met locally.”

Information sessions will provide employers with an overview of recent changes to the Employer Sponsored Skilled Migration nominations.

Members of the community who would like to obtain more information relating to immigration are advised to contact their local migration agent or visit the Department of Home Affairs website at www.homeaffairs.gov.au.
