Small Businesses Embrace Digital Support

Australian Treasury

More than 265 small businesses have signed up for Round 3 of the Albanese Labor Government’s Digital Solutions program in its first month, demonstrating demand for practical support to help businesses grow and compete.

The strong early take‑up builds on the success of the program, which Under Round 2 supported almost 17,000 small businesses across Australia. Businesses received more than 37,000 hours of coaching and participated in more than 1,800 workshops and webinars.

The Digital Solutions program provides free and subsidised digital support for small businesses. It helps small businesses build their confidence and capability using digital tools and technologies, including artificial intelligence, social media, online marketing, cybersecurity, and business software.

The Albanese Labor Government is investing more than $25 million in Round 3, delivering one‑on‑one coaching, workshops, webinars and online resources through experienced providers across Australia.

This support is part of the Government’s broader backing for small business, including $3.8 billion in business tax relief measures making the instant asset write‑off permanent, delivering a permanent two‑year loss carry back for small companies, introducing loss refundability, expanding tax incentives for venture capital, ensuring 1.5 million sole traders benefit from our $250 tax offset and much more because we believe in small businesses and we’re backing them.
