Smash and grab at Stirling

Police are investigating an aggravated serious criminal trespass at a Stirling licenced premises early this morning.

Just after midnight Monday 13 November staff at a hotel on Mount Barker Road were finishing up for the night when they heard banging and crashing coming from the gaming room area.

The staff members immediately went to a safe location and called police, and were thankfully not confronted or physically injured.

Two masked suspects had smashed their way into the gaming room and managed to steal an amount of cash before leaving the hotel on foot, dropping some money in the carpark on their way out.

When police arrived at the scene they searched the area but have been unable to locate the suspects at this time.
