Smoother flying, better driving and big projects planned

Kempsey Shire Council

Residents are invited to give feedback on important draft projects aimed to improve infrastructure and services in the Macleay Valley.

The draft Kempsey Airport Master Plan and the yearly plans including Kempsey Shire Council’s 2023-24 budget, are on exhibition through Your Say Macleay in May.

Will this plan take Kempsey Airport to new heights?

Maximising commercial opportunities, improving emergency service facilities, and sustainable development are just some of the actions outlined in the draft Kempsey Airport Master Plan.

A big focus for the plan is to ensure any future development aligns with the Kempsey Airport Noise Management Plan and the Fly Neighbourly Advice.

The draft Kempsey Airport Master Plan is on public exhibition now until Friday 19 May. Have your say by visiting ksc.pub/airport-plan.
