After an initial setup and testing period, Snowy Monaro Regional Council has now officially launched its fully automated pay-by-phone rate payment system.
This upgrade to the options available to the region’s ratepayers was completed in response to community feedback. The system is proving a welcome addition to the payment options already available.
It is important to note that traditional over-the-counter payments are not going anywhere, as Council recognises this is the preferred means of payment for some people. Options available for payment are now:
• pay in person – cash, cheque or EFTPOS (VISA, Mastercard, or bank debit card)
