The Snowy Mountains Highway has reopened at Talbingo following a fatal truck and car crash near Old Mountain Road Walk.
The highway had been closed between Miles Franklin Drive at Talbingo, and Link Road near Adaminaby.
A vehicle recovery operation will take place shortly.
Motorists are advised to continue to exercise caution and follow directions of traffic controllers on site.
