Sophisticated cocktail co in conjunction with WildSpirits Distillery in Brookvale have unveiled their Tasti Toni Negroni.
This is the 7th bagged cocktail from the company who is changing the way we drink ready to drink cocktails. Joining Sophisticated cocktail co’s ready-to-drink range of Margarita, Cosmo, Pina colada, Espresso Martini and Old Fashioned, the ready to drink Negroni features an expertly crafted dry Gin from Wildspirits, a rich sweet vermouth and bitter liqueur for a decidedly elegant take on the iconic Italian cocktail.
Serving as the base of the cocktail, Wildspirits Gin is carefully combined with Moncino Sweet Vermouth and Pampelle bitter liqueur to create the ultimate readily crafted aperitif. With an elegant balance of the classic Negroni’s defining bitterness and subtly sweet citrus flavours, you simply need to pour the ready to drink cocktail over a glass of ice and garnish with a dried orange slice from Mary valley, which is sold separately on the site.
“This was a long-time in the making as finding the right sweet vermouth for the Negroni to taste absolutely perfect was the most challenging part. You need the perfect balance of bitter and sweet and finding the right combination was imperative” says Vicki Lyon, co-founder and chief cocktail creator at Sophisticated cocktail co. “I was never a huge fan of the Negroni until I recently tried a beautiful one made by Four Pillars at Quay restaurant, I knew it was a key cocktail to have in the range, but I needed to love it before I could actually sell it.
