South Australia man charged with child exploitation offence

A 42-year-old man from the Lower Eyre Peninsular of South Australia has been charged with a child exploitation offence. He was arrested by detectives from the South Australia Joint Anti Child Exploitation Team (SA-JACET), which comprises of members from the Australian Federal Police and South Australia Police Force.

The man was arrested today (7 June 2019) and charged with one count of dissemination of child exploitation material contrary to Section 63(B)of the Criminal Law Consolidation Act 1935 (SA); and one count of failing to comply with his reporting obligations.

The man was granted police bail and will appear in the Port Lincoln Magistrates Court on 17 July 2019.
