Traffic Enforcement Group officers are investigating a hit and run crash that occurred in South Perth early this morning, 9 June 2022.
About 1.35am, a man was walking along the Kwinana Freeway near the Mill Point Road on-ramp when he was struck by a dark coloured 4WD/SUV vehicle. The driver of the vehicle failed to stop at the crash scene.
The pedestrian, a 26-year-old man was conveyed to Royal Perth Hospital for treatment of his injuries.
Investigators are urging the driver of the dark 4WD/SUV to contact police. Also Police would like to speak with the driver of a small red vehicle (or similar colour) who saw the incident to contact police as they may hold vital information that could insist the ongoing investigation.
