Council advises that the speed limit on Balaclava Rd, Earlville, and Fairview St, Bayview Heights, will be reduced to 50km/h from Monday 28 February.
The new speed limit, reduced from 60km/h, offers greater safety.
Council is introducing this change following a speed limit review, which has been endorsed by the Department of Transport and Main Roads and Queensland Police Service.
