A man will be facing court after allegedly driving at excessive speed in Carrum Downs this morning.
Carrum Downs officers detected a Holden Commodore sedan travelling at 150km/h in a 70km/h speed zone on Ballarto Road about 4.50am.
Police intercepted the driver, a 38-year-old man, and impounded his vehicle for 30 days at a cost of $1390.
The man is expected to be summonsed to appear before a Magistrate at a later date.
