Police are currently investigating an incident of Wilfully setting dangerous thing for people, which occurred in Yallingup on 18 November 2021.
It is alleged that a woman was injured when she had been walking in the National Park at the rear of Wardanup Crescent in Yallingup when she stood on a metal implement which had been placed along the track.
The implement was hidden by foliage and pierced her shoes and foot. A second implement was also located further alone the track.
Inquiries are ongoing and police urge any person with information which may assist to contact Dunsborough Police or Crimestoppers on 1800 333 000.
