Spitting and threats in Bundoora

Police are seeking the identity of a man following an assault and threats at a shopping centre in Bundoora in June.

Investigators believe the unknown man entered a Janefield Drive complex about 4.30am on Sunday, 21 June, in company with two other men.

The men attempted to cut in line at a footwear store, and when the staff member approached, one of the men made threats to seriously injure the worker.

He continued verbally abusing the victim, before spitting in the victim’s face.

He then left the shopping centre.

The man is perceived to be of Middle Eastern appearance, aged 20 to 30 years, and has dark hair.

He was wearing a black puffer jacket, blue jeans and red runners at the time of the incident.

Investigators have released and image of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.
