Spot the dog to visit Logan

Spot the dog will be appearing on stage at the Logan Entertainment Centre on September 18.

One of the world’s much-loved dogs is coming to the Logan Entertainment Centre (LEC) this month.

The LEC will host Spot and his friends’ new adventure to the farm owned by Spot’s dad in two shows on Wednesday, September 18 at 10am and noon.

When Spot and his friends arrive at the farm they find all the animals are lost and with the assistance of their new friends in the audience they work to find them.

Spot brings to life the tale of Eric Hill’s beloved puppy on stage through puppetry, songs and puzzles for children aged more than 18 months.

Theatre goers will have the chance to meet some live animals before and after the show.

Officers from Council’s Animal Management Centres will be at the LEC with one of their dogs to teach children about responsible pet care and other tips such as how to stay safe around strange dogs and interacting with them safely.

Spot is being presented by arrangement with Salspot Limited, part of publishers Penguin Random House.

Tickets for the show can be bought at the Wembley Rd LEC box office or online via loganentertainmentcentre.com.au/
