Spotlight on Blairgowrie: Get involved

How do you imagine Blairgowrie in the future? With the help of the local community groups, we’re engaging with Blairgowrie locals to highlight existing community projects, active community groups as well as Council adopted strategies and projects. Consultation with Blairgowrie will provide an easy to understand map outlining key projects for the area.

We are particularly keen to hear from young people. You can help share your vision by letting us know what you enjoy in your community or your ideas for the future. Upload a picture of your favourite Blairgowrie spot or idea and go in the draw to win a $50 JB HiFi voucher.

The Peninsula is an empowered and resilient community and Blairgowrie has shown many times that when we work collaboratively, great things can happen.

Community drop-in sessions

  • Stringer Road Reserve, Tuesday 27 February, 2 – 6pm
  • Blairgowrie shops, Thursday 29 February, 10am – 1pm.

How to have your say

Give us five minutes of your time, go to mornpen.vic.gov.au/Blairgowrie and share your input in our survey. As a special incentive to young people, we’re giving away $50 vouchers to 15 lucky participants. Don’t miss out – enter the draw by taking the survey, leaving a comment on the map and/or sharing a picture!

Hard copy forms are available at Shire Customer Service Centres.

Community consultation is open from 19 February to 22 March.
