Nominations are about to open for the Logan Volunteer awards.

Hundreds if not thousands of people across the City of Logan go above and beyond every day for the local community.

From the mums and dads assisting at schools, to the full-time workers finding time for our emergency services on weekends, to those who organise and run not-for-profit groups; Logan’s selfless servants are many.

Nominations for the City of Logan Volunteer Awards open on Monday, February 24.

The awards are an annual opportunity to recognise the efforts and dedication of Logan’s helpers, and thank them for their service.

Residents should visit logan.qld.gov.au/awards/volunteers to nominate worthy Logan volunteers for the:

  • Frank Lenz Memorial Award for Volunteer of the Year
  • Davida Steele Memorial Award for Outstanding Community Organisation.

Nominations will close on Sunday, April 12.

Winners will be announced at the City of Logan Volunteers Thank You Breakfast on Saturday, May 9, 2020.
