The spring sunshine and extra rain has seen the grass growing quickly and getting pretty long in some of our parks and open spaces.
We’ve recently had 193.5 mm of rain which means some days we have been unable to get around to mow lawns… plus mowing of wet grass takes longer.
Our contractors are busy working overtime during the week, catching up on the weekends and are making progress. They’re zooming around over 400 hectares of Bayside’s open space.
