Stabbing at Rosewater, South Australia

Police are investigating a serious assault at Rosewater early this morning.

About 4.15am on Sunday 27 February police and SA ambulance were called to Grand Junction after reports of a man with stab wounds. The man was approached by a group of people and stabbed to the chest and abdomen. The suspects ran off and have not been located.

The victim aged in his mid 20’s was treated at the scene before being taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital where he remains in a serious but non-life threatening condition.

Police believe the incident occurred on Gray Terrace. Gray Terrace is closed between Grand Junction Road and Margaret Terrace while Detectives and Crime Scene Officers exam the scene.
