Stabbing, Ferny Grove

Four teenagers have been charged after the alleged stabbing of a 15-year-old boy in North Brisbane overnight.

Around 7:30pm, four teenagers were approached by another group of teenagers after alighting from a train and engaged them in a conversation.

An altercation has taken place where a 15-year-old boy was allegedly stabbed in the chest. He was taken to the Royal Brisbane Hospital with a serious injury.

The group ran from the scene before being located by police nearby a short time later.

Two boys and a girl aged 15, as well as a 16-year-old boy, have each been charged with grievous bodily harm and attempted armed robbery.

The four teenagers will be dealt with under the Youth Justice Act.

It is not believed the groups were known to each other.
