A person has suffered critical injuries after being stabbed in Papatoetoe this evening.
Police were called to the incident at the intersection of Hotoe Avenue and Huia Road at around 7.30pm.
The victim has been transported to Middlemore Hospital in a critical condition.
The offender is in police custody.
