The Small Street project is part of a broader placemaking strategy across the municipality, which includes small streetscape interventions within our activity centres including projects in the Black Rock, Sandringham, Seaview and Beaumaris.
This installation was to assist in the beautification and activation of Council’s land which was identified as a disused footpath at the end of a cul-de-sac.
Information was shared with neighboring businesses and residents.
The purpose of the strategy is to activate economic activity and foster community engagement.
