Stolen car and dangerous driving charges at Ipswich

Ipswich Detectives have charged two juveniles after they allegedly stole a car and drove dangerously last Thursday, August 18.

It will be alleged a 17-year-old boy and 14-year-old girl while driving dangerously on the Ipswich Motorway at Goodna, rammed a police car.

They were located and arrested last night and refused police bail.

The 17-year-old boy has been charged with six counts of stealing, two counts of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and one count of unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

The 14-year-old girl has been charged with ten counts of stealing and one count of unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

They are due to appear in Ipswich Childrens Court this week.

Anyone who witnessed the silver Ford Falcon allegedly driving dangerously since last Thursday is asked to contact police.
