Stolen motor vehicles in Alice Springs

Northern Territory Police are investigating the unlawful entry of two homes from which three vehicles were stolen in Alice Springs overnight.

Around 3am police received a report of three vehicles being driven erratically around the CBD and the occupants of the vehicles verbally abusing others.

Further inquiries found two of the vehicles; a white 2017 model Nissan X-Trail with NT registration CC99KW and a white Suzuki Beleno with NT registration CC47HY had been stolen in the unlawful entry of a home on Standley Crescent in Gillen sometime between midnight and 3am.

A third vehicle being a white Holden Rodeo with NT registration 5191 was stolen during the unlawful entry of a home on Kurrajong Drive, Sadadeen.

Police recovered two vehicles earlier today, but the white Nissan X-Trail with NT registration CC99KW remains outstanding.

Police urge anyone who has information which may assist in the investigation of the unlawful entries and the stolen motor vehicles, to contact them on 131 444 or report it anonymously via Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 and reference PROMIS number 9182306.
