ADVICE TO THE PUBLIC:

A tropical low is positioned over the central Northern Territory. The low is expected to be slow moving over the eastern Gregory today, and begin to move westwards on Wednesday.

HEAVY RAINFALL which may lead to FLASH FLOODING is possible for parts of the southwestern Carpentaria, eastern Gregory, northwestern Barkly, and northern Tanami districts today, becoming likely again overnight tonight. Six hourly rainfall totals between 50 to 100 mm are likely.

HEAVY RAINFALL is expected to contract to the west and then ease from Wednesday morning.
