Strathbogie Shire residents are being encouraged to apply for a grant of up to $5000 in Council’s 2022/23 Community Grants Program Round 2.
The 2022/23 Community Grants Program opens on 1 October for the month, closing on 1 November.
Strathbogie Shire Council Mayor Cr Laura Binks said this is the second round of grants available under five different categories to encourage as many projects and community ideas as possible.
The five grant categories are:
- Active and healthy communities
- Arts and culture
- Environment and sustainability
- Facilities and infrastructure; and
- Small projects
Cr Binks said round one grants had already revitalised many of our organisations and clubs and round two has the capacity to kick start a longed-for new project.
“Whether it is a small request for grant funding or a larger request which is supported by other contributions, our Community Grant Program provides a great opportunity to achieve inspiring projects in any one of the categories listed,” she said.
