Strike Force Raptor arrest man over outstanding interstate warrant, NSW

Strike Force Raptor investigators have arrested a South Australian man on an outstanding interstate warrant.

Following information received, officers from the Criminal Groups Squad’s Strike Force Raptor arrested a 38-year-old man, who disembarked a flight from Thailand, at Sydney International Airport just after 10am today (Wednesday 25 March 2020).

The man was taken to Mascot Police Station and charged with an outstanding South Australian warrant for the offence of cause serious harm to another (aggravated).

It will be alleged the man shot another man in the leg during an incident at Hindmarsh, South Australia, on Monday 16 September 2019.

The South Australian man has been refused bail to appear at Central Local Court today.
